W Hotel
Starwood Hotels and Resorts are planning to make the W Hotel in Las Vegas as flagship property for their global expansion plans. The W Hotel will have 3,000 rooms, condos and 75,000 square foot casino with a dozen eating/dining places and upscale clubs. The W Hotel will have a 30,000 Square feet meeting space, spa and gym. The hotel-condo tower will be located in the corner of the Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane. It will be located close to MGM Grand, the massive Hard Rock expansion and Planet Hollywood.Las Vegas has always been top in the priority list of Starwood Hotels with clients. The $1.7 billion luxury condo-hotel aims for hip clientele among the tourists and visitors to Las Vegas. According to the developers they want to build an oasis to which the residents can escape from the hectic city life.
The W Hotels at Las Vegas will be a joint venture between Edge Resorts and Starwood Hotels and Resorts, while Edge Resorts will own 75 percent of the property the Starwood will own 25 percent of the place and will also manage the hotel
