Summerlin spurs the growth of College

The Community College of Southern Nevada has grown along with the master-planned community. Opened in 1999 the college has more than 1500 students attending each semester taking a variety of courses. There are more 17 associate degree and seven certification programs being offered to meet the diverse interests of the Summerlin community.

Located in The Arbors village the college offers Summerlin residents a chance to pursue additional educational opportunities right in their own neighborhood. It offers an opportunity to the residents of Summerlin to keep upgrading their skills and making a difference to both their own life and that of the community.

Summerlin, the master planned community is a self-contained community with all facilities offered within the development. Once you into Summerlin you don't have to step out for anything. The master planned development has planned facilities for almost every need of the residents of the place including more than 100 parks, more than 100 miles of trails, houses of worship, shopping centers, medical facilities, cultural facilities, and business parks.
