Fresh from the gardens

Summerlin, developed by The Howard Hughes Corp., along the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley is home to more than 100 parks, more than 100 miles of trails, houses of worship, shopping centers, medical facilities, cultural facilities, business parks and nearly 60 model homes.

Summerlin the Master-Planned community residents have been getting garden fresh produce right from fruits, vegetables, flowers, dairy produce from the farmer's market within Summerlin. Sever handicrafts and arts and crafts items are also sold here. Called the The Gardens Park Farmers Market is held every Tuesday from 4p.m.-8p.m at The Gardens Park which is on Gardens Park Drive near Town Center Drive and Desert Inn Road.

The Summerlin Council a co-sponsor of the Farmers Market brings the fresh produce from throughout western United States. The Farmers market has been becoming more and more popular every year. The more and more people are becoming technologically advanced the more they like the simplicity and charms of events like farmers markets.
