KB delivers quality Las Vegas homes
The KB company has been building homes for nearly 50 years. Together with Kaufman & Broad S.A., its majority-owned subsidiary in France, the company delivered homes to 27,331 families in the United States and France during the 2003 fiscal year. KB delivered more than 3,800 homes in the Las Vegas Valley in 2004.
In November 2003, after implementing the builder association's Certified Trade Contractor program, KB announced that the Las Vegas division would become the prototype for the company's nationwide rollout of the program.
Designed to increase efficiency and consistency in building practices, the builder certification program requires a rigorous review of business practices. It also ensures that all elements of the company's quality assurance system are in place.
It was one of the first construction firms to receive the National Housing Quality Builder Certification. According to firm's quality manager they have been continuing to improve their quality and efficiency to get greater customer satisfaction and fewer problems in construction.
